Water-Cast Sterling Silver Shell Pendant

A one-of-a-kind sterling silver pendant, created entirely by hand using an ancient and unpredictable water-casting technique.

Molten silver is poured onto water, where it cools and forms its own unique, organic shape. No two pieces can ever be the same. The sculptural, shell-like form is then finished by hand and delicately enamelled on the inside, before being kiln-fired to create a rich, luminous surface.

Layered shades of blue enamel flow across the silver, revealing subtle variations in colour and depth. The result is an original piece of contemporary jewellery that captures the beauty of both movement and nature.
